Creciendo Juntos, Delivery Associates, the International Education Funders Group, the Tinker Foundation, and the Age of Learning Foundation, cordially invite you to hear and share a largely unheard story.
Join us at the Bryant Park Hotel to discuss innovative approaches and solutions that are addressing specific challenges in Latin American education.
As a contributor to education transformation, your voice can help create new pathways to change.
The story of education transformation in Latin America, over the last decade, remains largely unheard. Embark on an informative workshop journey, with us, to explore a decade of dynamic progress and persistent challenges in education across the continent.
Progress: Latin American countries have experienced notable progress through government effort, civil sector initiatives, and collaborative philanthropic intervention. Advancements have focused on (i) reducing learning poverty; (ii) bridging divides through technology innovation; (iii) localizing curricula to foster inclusivity; and (iv) elevating instructional quality through teacher support and development.
Challenges: Despite progress, significant gaps persist. Access to quality education remains uneven, and prolonged pandemic school closures intensified disparities. Limited infrastructure and connectivity hinder the full potential of technology. Teacher development opportunities are not yet universal. Recognition and welcoming of linguistic and cultural diversity, and inclusivity for persons with a disability, are still stretch goals.
This workshop summons us to recognize both achievements and remaining gaps, catalyzing a collective drive towards equitable, holistic education that harnesses Latin America’s potential and shapes a brighter future for the continent’s children.
